I wrote these two poems whilst sat on the train the other day, the first one is called Southport to St Austell, the second is Stuff Nan Says
Southport to St Austell
You may watch on beguiled,
As nimble fingers dance,
Swiftly swiping the pristine screens
of the modern world.
And earphones dangle daintily,
From ears, so full of song.
Asif they are the head dressings of,
The Great Western’s Virile Man.
Stuff Nan Says
Are you sitting comfortably?
Are you warm or is it just me?
Can I go and fetch you a biscuit?
Would you care for a nice cup of tea?
